Last night, Tasmania's community pharmacy leaders celebrated by honouring the individuals and teams who work every day to improve patient care. The next generation of pharmacy were recognised as they will take on the mantle in providing innovative healthcare solutions to Tasmanians into the future.
In Tasmania, Priceline Bridgewater was awarded Community Pharmacy of the Year for its commitment to improving healthcare accessibility, affordability and patient outcomes in its local community. Over the past year, the pharmacy has expanded its pharmacist workforce, introduced seven-day trading and broadened pharmacist-led services, while invested in technology and dedicated consultation spaces to give pharmacists more time with patients. Its expanded harm minimisation services, free dose administration aid packing, workplace vaccination program and adoption of innovative clinical technology demonstrate a strong focus on removing barriers to care and meeting the evolving needs of its community.
