The initiative aims to reduce staffing pressure during training and enable pharmacy teams to expand their clinical capabilities confidently.
With nearly 40 years of supporting community pharmacy, LocumCo is one of Australia’s most trusted pharmacy workforce specialists.
The organisation maintains an extensive national network of locums, longstanding relationships across the profession, and an exclusive partnership with NAPSA to support future pharmacy talent.
LocumCo’s high placement success rate and deep understanding of pharmacy operations make it well-positioned to help owners maintain continuity of care while their staff upskill.
This partnership underpins Gold Cross’ commitment to identifying partners based on:
- Suitability for pharmacy owners - for current and future business needs
- Offering market-leading products and services
- Their commitment to superior customer service and support.
“As we work together to implement full scope of practice, having the right team is more important than ever," LocumCo's owner Sue Muller said.
"That's why I'm proud to announce that LocumCo is partnering with Gold Cross to drive this workforce transformation," she said.
"Backed by my 50 years as a pharmacist and LocumCo’s 40 years in pharmacy recruitment, this partnership guarantees PGA members the high-quality locum cover and permanent recruitment support required to evolve their businesses confidently."
