Hosted by Michelle Bou Samra, the Pharmacy Guild of Australia’s Scope of Practice Implementation Lead, the second episode of ScopeCast focuses on hormonal contraception, with a practical discussion on initiation and resupply in community pharmacy, managing common concerns, supporting informed decision-making, and collaborating with GPs to improve access to care.
Joining Michelle again are two expert guests from TerryWhite Chemmart: Kate Gunthorpe, who leads full-scope implementation nationwide, and Peter Fairgray, a Brisbane-based community pharmacist doing incredible clinical work. Both are also helping to nurture the next generation of prescribing pharmacists through their work with James Cook University.
