“Pharmacy Connect is a must-attend event for pharmacists, owners, executives, students, interns, pharmacy assistants, retail managers and industry representatives,” said Pharmacy Guild of Australia National President Professor Trent Twomey.
Minister Butler will join the Premier of New South Wales, the Honourable Chris Minns MP, to address delegates during the Opening Plenary on Thursday September 4, setting the tone for a conference focused on the future of community pharmacy.
Pharmacy Connect Conference Convenor, Kos Sclavos AM, said the attendance of both leaders would mark a defining moment for the sector.
“It is a great honour to welcome Minister Butler and Premier Minns to Pharmacy Connect 2025,” said Mr Sclavos.
“Their joint presence signals a shared recognition across federal and state governments of the integral role community pharmacy plays in Australia’s primary healthcare system. We look forward to hearing their perspectives on the sector’s future direction.”
Centred on the theme ‘From Inspiration to Action’, the Pharmacy Connect program features dedicated business, clinical, and pharmacy assistant streams, pre-conference workshops, a 70-stand Trade Exhibition, and standout networking events such as the Welcome Reception and Cocktail Party.
With the conference just weeks away, Professor Twomey and Mr Sclavos encouraged prospective delegates to register now to secure their place.
“Pharmacy Connect is an essential opportunity for pharmacy professionals to connect, learn, and engage with key decision-makers in health,” said Mr Sclavos.
